The Last Homely House

Oh my Goodness! Completely missed the point about the magnet being made of metal. Of course that’s what the word “enamel” means. My mind thought it would be enamel paint on ceramic and I almost didn’t order it because I worried about it getting broken. No worries ANY MORE as it’s METAL and has a proud place on the front of our frig. No gifting this one to anybody. I missed the opportunity to grab the other magnetic “out of your head, into your hands” only because it had sold out but I’m completely happy with the group on the lime green sofa on this one. All the best for 2026 for the whole Last Homely House community: on the ground there in the UK and online around the world!

This year’s Treehouse jigsaw is the 2nd puzzle I’ve purchased for my Mom who is now 87 yrs old. The 1st puzzle bought in 2022 was a photo of Kate’s sewing room and may have been her first attempt at turning a photo into a jigsaw with a local company? Both are BEAUTIFUL and well received as my Mom is not only an avid puzzler but was an avid seamstress for many, many decades. Mostly much smaller projects now but she still loves, loves, loves anything to do with sewing and crafting!

I want to update on my calendar. It took a very long time to receive due to shipping between the UK and the US. I’m happy to report it did arrive with the help of my postmaster in our local area. It was not the fault of the Last Homely House Shop. The calendar is my third one and I’m quite happy with it. I’m very thankful that I have it. Thank-you to the LHH Shop and to Kate, Anna and Rita.

My wife was knocked out by both the calendar and tote bag. I sure scored some points.

Love my notebook, thank you for such a colourful and well designed notebook. A joy to put my thought and ideas into it.

Although I'm used to having the calendar start on Sunday through Saturday,
I find this year's calendar much easier to read when sitting across the room from it. The pictures you chose are each entertaining and interesting. What are you going to do with all of those" little bits of fabric to keep your sewing moving"? I love that your cat gets included! She is so sweet. Each time she comes near the screen I want to pet her.

I was excited to be able to get something for myself this season, and I absolutely adore my new magnet! Brings a smile to my face everyday.

I have left the book laying out in my sewing room because the cover is so beautiful and when you open it the beauty continues.
I have planned an EPP quilt in it already and the notebook gives me a designated place to keep my idea and any future plans.
So glad I ordered it!!

The thread is a very good quality but I feel it is no more than a embroidery floss. I was expecting something more like a hand quilting thread. Thank you anyway

I have purchased the really cool planners previously and love those photo ideas for patterns to quilt so thank you for those! I’m loving the EEP planner as well with the hexagon planning pages and the lovely photos of EEP quilts! My favorite is the beautiful handmade hexagon quilt given to Kate by her Mother! A true gift of love.

I like the new notebook that’s set up for English Paper Piecing sewing. It’s been great to keep a record of my progress in my EPP projects.
